Spring Fairy

Well, my first upload!

This is a piece that took me more than a year to finish. Last year Ostara I began drawing this Fairy of Spring. I finished the outline last year, than put it away... untill today!! Ostara 2008 I decided to put some colour on her.

In the drawing you see a blossoming tree, symbol of spring. In front of it sits a meditating fairy, wairing the colours of dawn. In her lap rests an Ostara egg and the sun is rising in the background.

I must admit, the scanner didn't do the colours justice. But I'm afraid this is as good as it gets...
