Hello Kitty Cake 2

I got a call from a friend last week, asking if I could help her out. The daughter of her roommate turned three last sunday and she asked if I could make a cake. Fondant, sparkles and everything else included. They wanted a princess cake but I knew the little tyke also loved Hello Kitty and I have a Hello Kitty cakepan. So a Hello Kitty cake it was, two actually!

I baked the cakes on friday and saturday morning, and in the afternoon my friend and I filled the cake with strawberry jelly and cream. Then we decorated them with fondant. It was a lot of fun and these were actually the first times I ever worked with fondant. Good learning experience!
